Faculty & Staff Parking

The University of St. 情侣自拍 provides multiple parking options for faculty and staff, on both the St. Paul and Minneapolis campuses.  Below is helpful information as you choose options that are right for your situation.

  • In order to be parked legally on property owned by St. 情侣自拍, faculty & staff must purchase a valid St. 情侣自拍 parking permit or contract, or pay hourly in a visitor parking location.
  • To qualify for a parking permit or contract, you must have a valid St. 情侣自拍 ID card and must be engaging in St 情侣自拍 related business or events.
  • Faculty and staff are eligible for either a parking permit/contract or a University-subsidized Metro Pass. For those who purchase a parking permit/contract, but would also like to use the Metro Transit system, $20 Stored Value cards and 10-Ride Passes are available for purchase at the Campus Store.
  • Parking contracts in the Anderson Student Center (ASC), McNeely Ramp (MCN), and Schoenecker Hall North (SHN) are awarded after a faculty/staff member requests it via the "waitlist" in the parking portal as space becomes open.
  • Purchasing the faculty/staff permit does not guarantee a parking space and a lack of parking is not a valid reason to violate UST parking policies.
  • There are multiple parking options across campus, along with the Anderson Parking Facility. If a space is not available closest to where you need to be, make sure to check the other available surface lots for faculty/staff/commuter permits (A, B, C, D, G, I, K, L) and also Morrison R2 (North Campus).
  • Parking enforcement is managed through license plate recognition.  St. 情侣自拍 no longer uses hang tags.
  • It is a critical portion of the parking system that permit and contract holders have an accurate and current license plate information connected to their parking permit. Visit the Parking Portal to verify that your license plate information is up to date.  You can add license plate information as well as "delete" old vehicles in the parking portal.  Not updating your vehicle information will lead to a parking citation as you might have a permit, but your vehicle you are driving does not.

Faculty/Staff Permit/Contract Options and Fees

Prices for faculty and staff permits and contracts are determined by an employee's FTE. All faculty/staff parking fees are paid for through payroll deduction. The cost of parking is divided into 25 payments (26 pay periods per academic year), which are deducted, pre-tax, from the bi-weekly payroll. Adjunct faculty, please see section below for details about parking for adjunct faculty.
