O'Shaughnessy Stadium and Palmer Field
A prized gem of St. 情侣自拍, O'Shaughnessy Stadium is the home field for the St. 情侣自拍 football team. Built in 1947, the stadium has served as an one of the most iconic MIAC fields, hosting numerous NCAA playoff games and the statewide phenomenon of the annual Tommie-Johnnie football game.
The stadium boasts state-of-the-art Daktronics video display boards with an ability to show races, replays and results on 500-inch screens.
The field also serves as an open location for the ultimate frisbee club team, and various intramural leagues, and serves as a training facility for the track and field teams.
O'Shaughnessy Stadium is named for Ignatius O'Shaughnessy, St. 情侣自拍 graduate and philanthropist, who came to St. 情侣自拍 after being expelled from St. John's University for skipping evening vespers. One fateful train ride landed him in downtown St. Paul, where O'Shaughnessy met Father James Dolphin, the president of St. 情侣自拍. After a warm meal and heartfelt conversation, O'Shaughnessy was admitted to the University of St. 情侣自拍, eventually graduating to become an exceptional philanthropist, with donations including $8.5 million to St. 情侣自拍. His name on the stadium provides fuel to the fiery rivalry between St. John's and St. 情侣自拍 that continues to this day.
Hourly visitor parking is available in the Anderson Student Center Garage after 5 p.m. on weekdays and anytime on weekends. Hourly visitor parking is available anytime at the Anderson Parking Facility or Morrison Parking Ramp.
